Bernice A. Molitor

Bernice A. (Gerster) Molitor, age 93 of Miesville died June 5, 2011 in Hastings. She was born April 19, 1918 in Hampton to Edward and Dorothy (Peine) Gerster. Bernice attended rural Hampton schools and married Raymond M. Molitor on September 17, 1940 in Hampton. Bernice was actively involved in many church activities. She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, dancing, and gardening. Bernice lived her life for Christ, setting an example to all. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ray; son Gene; sisters Olivia Lorentz and Lorraine Rother; and brother Al Gerster. Bernice is survived by her daughters Diane (Robert) Endres of Marco Island, FL, Rae Mary (Richard) Otterstrom of Shoreview, Theresa (Joe) Niebur of Hastings; son Charlie (Patrice) Molitor of Cannon Falls, daughter-in-law Rita Molitor of Cannon Falls; also 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters Dorothy Werner, Alvera Niebur, and Kathleen Leifeld; sisters-in-law Bonnie Gerster and Shirley (Bernie) Klein. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. Jay Kythe will be held 10:30am Thursday, June 9, 2011 at St. Joseph�s Catholic Church in Miesville, followed by interment in the parish cemetery. The visitation will be held AT CHURCH from 4-8pm Wednesday and one hour prior to the Thursday Mass. The pallbearers are Peter Endres, Brian Molitor, Heather Schwinn, Kenna Schulz, John Molitor, Brent Molitor, and Joel Molitor. Memorials preferred.
